This is a satire skit from the now defunct Australian outfit called CNNNN, but the people in the video are real Americans. I don’t know what to say. Just watch. Did you know Fidel Castro is a singer?

In Memoriam
My Mother
April 24, 1942 – December 11, 2002
Five years have passed since she left us, but not a day goes by that I don’t think about her. I still dream about her regularly, too, but I’ve trained myself to recognize that when I see her in my dreams it’s not real. That way I don’t [...]

Snowy Day In Columbus
The first significant snow of the season is falling today. It should be very pretty when the sun comes up. I have a clunky old digital camera, so perhaps I’ll upload some pictures later. I don’t know if mine will be as good as those Ann Althouse takes. She’s a pretty good photographer.

Michelle Malkin has a post via The Caucus about the note Duncan Hunter sent Hillary Clinton regarding the question posed by Keith Kerr mentioned in my previous post.
Regarding the “plant”, retired Brig. Gen. Keith H. Kerr, that you sent to ask me the question at the CNN-YouTube debate last night in Florida …

Mukasey Fallout – The End of Democracy in America?
I posted yesterday about Dianne Feinstein and Charles Schumer announcing they’d vote to move the Mukasey nomination for AG out of committee and on to the full Senate where he’s expected to be confirmed easily. Well, the predicable responses are coming in this morning. Andrew Sullivan has a melodramatic post titled Schumer and Feinstein Surrender. [...]

Let’s Try This Again – deleted posts
I know it’s been a long time (over a year) since I’ve posted. I’m toying with the idea of starting back up, but I first wanted to clean up some of my previous posts. I deleted one that upon further thought appeared to be simply an extension of the introduction post and two that were [...]

Connecticut, Etc.
It’s over. Lamont took out Lieberman (52%-48%). Lieberman will run as an independent in November. Lefty reaction here and here(language warning on the second one).
In my earlier post I said Lieberman is a liberal/progressive on most issues other than Iraq. According to Andrew Sullivan he’s to the right of a few Republicans on the war. [...]

More Reutergate Fallout
Beth over at My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy has a lot more information coming out about what appears to be a growing media scandal. She also has links to Dread Pundit Bluto and Rusty at The Jawa Report with more.Says Beth:
Bastards. This stuff really pisses me off. There’s no way every single piece of news [...]

Lieberman Web Site Hacked?
I’m really not surprised if this is true. Jeff Goldstein says sarcastically:
But you know how Jews are—always trying to guilt you into giving them sympathy. Or a good deal on a used Lincoln Towncar.
Michelle Malkin has more.
