Dan Riehl notes, via David Corn, that people in the Clinton campaign hate Barack Obama:
“They really, really hate Obama,” one Democratic operative unaffiliated with any campaign, tells me. “They can’t stand him. They talk about him as if he’s worse than Bush.”
That’s odd. Granted, I’m not involved in a heated, close campaign with Obama, but my feelings toward him have never been dislike or hatred. To me he’s always seemed like an empty suit – a sort of cipher for the hopes and dreams of the masses. Politics of hope and all that. I mean come on; he’s endorsed by Oprah Winfrey. In fact, he’s the Oprah candidate – feeling our pain and all that. You have to wonder about the Clinton campaign if they have such a negative attitude as hate toward him.
Update: I notice Allahpundit at Hot Air has this, too, but with a telling Hillary video included.
